Highlights from 20 years of tobacco control

This brochure was published on the 20th anniversary of the entry into force of the WHO FCTC. 

Since it entered into force in 2005, the WHO FCTC has accelerated the implementation of lifesaving and evidence-based tobacco control policies globally.

The evidence base supporting the tobacco control policies aligned with WHO FCTC measures continues to grow, further increasing the support for their impact and the need to accelerate WHO FCTC implementation.
