National Health Prevention Strategy 2025–2035 (Quebéc)

This Strategy (available in French) sets out an ambitious vision: to make Québec a society where health and well-being are at the heart of collective choices. To achieve this, it focuses on intensifying prevention efforts, improving the integration of actions, and mobilizing all actors in civil society.

By 2035, it aims to reduce by 10% the growth in the burden of preventable diseases and to reduce by 10% the gap in premature mortality linked to socioeconomic inequalities.

To achieve these objectives, the Strategy is structured around four main pillars:

  • Reducing the burden of preventable diseases
  • Committing to healthy generations, today and tomorrow
  • Preserving and building healthy and sustainable living environments
  • Making prevention a societal project
