Governments commit to strengthening efforts on NCDs in UNGA resolution

The 75th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA75) has adopted a special Omnibus Resolution titled "Comprehensive and coordinated response to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic." In the Resolution governments commit to "strengthen efforts to address NCDs as a part of UHC and to recognise that people living with NCDs (PLWNCDs) are at higher risk of developing severe COVID-19 symptoms and among the most impacted by the pandemic."
