Developing the global oral health monitoring framework report: a set of indicators towards universal health coverage by 2030

The Global Oral Health Action Plan 2023–2030 includes a monitoring framework to track its implementation. Specifically, there are two overarching global targets as well as nine global targets related to the strategic objectives for which progress will be monitored at a global level. This report describes the method and process for developing and reaching consensus on the core indicators to be used for monitoring and reporting progress towards these 11 global targets. The process also identified 29 complementary indicators that countries and regions can select and use to monitor relevant health system and oral health priorities.
