The 2023 Global Progress Report on Implementation of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control is the tenth in the series of reports prepared since the entry into force of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) on 27 February 2005. The report reflects a period when the world began to breathe again after the suffocating experience of COVID-19, the most serious pandemic in more than a century.
